Jennifer Lawrence je nedavno poklonila 2 miliona dolara za izgradnju novog odeljeja u Dečijoj bolnici Kosair, u svom rodnom gradu Louisvillu u Kentakiju.

Oskarovka je na zvaničnoj YouTube stranici bolnice postavila video u kome kaže: „Zdravo. Ja sam Jennifer Lawrence. Uzbuđena sam što mogu da najavim da ću osnovati Jennifer Lawrence fondaciju za Odeljenje intenzivne nege Dečije bolnice Kosair. Kao deo mog napora da deci pružim potrebnu negu , želim da cela zajednica stane iza ovog projekta i nadmaši sumu od 2 miliona dolara koju sam ja donirala, kako bi pomogli ovoj veoma hrabroj deci koja su naša inspiracija“.

U obaveštenju za medije koje je objavila bolnica se kaže da će novac niti upotrebljen za nove privatne sobe u kojima će se dece oporavljati nakon operacija od bolesti koja zahrevaju njihov boravak na odeljenju intenzivne nege.
