Fanovi širom sveta ga pamte kao bucmastog, zlobnog rođaka Dudleya Dursleya iz filmova o Harry Potteru. Ali danas je Harry Melling potpuno promenio izgled.

Glumac je bio specijalni gost na Kanalu 5 i obožavaoce je šokirao njegov mršavi izgled i neobična frizura koju je predstavio. 26-godišnjaka je retko ko prepoznao dok je govorio o referednumu za ostanak Velike Britanije u Evropskoj Uniji.

Melling je dosta smršao još dok je trajalo snimanje filmova o čarobnjaku, pa ga zato i nije bilo u Harry Potteru i relikvijama smrti. Tada je izjavio: „Sada mogu da se oslobodim tereta koji sam imao kao dete glumac, poput težine i započnem novu karijeru, jer me niko više ne gleda kao Dudleya“.
