Solange je stala na ludi kamen sa svojim dugodišnjim dečkom, rediteljem Alen Fergusonom. Ovo je drugi brak ove pevačice, dok iz prvog braka ima sina Juleza. Sudbonosno ‘da’ ovaj par je rekao uz uži krug porodice i prijatelja u Nju Orleansu.
Venčanju su prisustvovali Beyonce, Jay-Z, mama Tina Knowles, dok je tata Knowles izostao sa ovog porodičnog događaja. Od poznatih, na venčanju je prisustvovala i pevačica Janelle Monae koja je odlična prijateljica sa Solange.
Mama Tina je za svoju ćerku dizajnirala venčanicu, kao i kombinezon koji je kasnije mlada nosila. Ono što je posebno zanimljivo je da su na ovom događaju svi bili obučeni u belo.
