Iako mediji tvrde da je za savršen izgled glumice i modela Kate Upton zaslužna genetika, ona otkriva da u održavanje svoje figure ulaže dosta truda.

Kate, koju smatraju jednom od najlepših i najzgodnijih žena u Holivudu, u jednom intervjuu je otkrila da je vrlo disciplinovana kad je reč o ishrani i da pazi šta jede. Glumica je otkrila da njoj zdrava ishrana uprkos dugom radnom danu predstavlja snagu. Ona je za novine London Evening Standard dala primer svog jelovnika:

  • Doručak, 7 sati: Kajgana sa spanaćem i zeleni čaj (one white, one whole) with spinach and green tea.
  • Užina, 10 sati: 10 badema i zdrav sok
  • Ručak: Kinoa sa pečenom piletinom i grilovanim povrćemwith herb-crusted grilled chicken and grilled vegetables.
  • Užina, 4 sata popodne: Proteinska pločica.
  • Večera, 7 sati uveče: Sašimi ili salata od kelja sa grilovanim lososom i indijski orah.

Kate je priznala da ponekad ipak vara i da se ne drži svog programa, pogotovo kad negde izađe, a porok joj je pečena slana hrana. Uprkos činjenici da ima telo za kojim mnoge devojke sanjaju, Kate priznaje da se ponekad stidi da ga pokaže.  „Svako od nas ima nesigurnosti. Ali ja volim i cenim ovo telo koje mi je dato i trudim se da se o njemu brinem svakodnevno koliko god mogu.“ – izjavila je Uptonova i dodala da joj je drago što je uzor mladim devojkama kad je izgled u pitanju.
